The food is consistently well prepared and yummy, staff members gives great customer service. I liked the cleanliness and atmosphere. Will come back again.

Nothing was fresh. Potatoe pancakes tasted bitter, like being prepared on the overheated and overused oil. Spätzle, home made noodles, were not freshly made. Bratwoorsts had aftertaste of the old fat. Got to admit that potatoe pancakes were made well, if only they have been prepared using fresh oil. Liver Knödel (dumpling) soup was very good. Service was quick and nice.

I celebrated my graduation earlier this evening in this delicious restaurant. Well we had a astonishing evening and the place was absolutely one of the reasons for this outstanding event. The crew cooperated in a very nice style, the cuisine was tasty and my friends were very thrilled. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

We arrived at this place for lunch. my friend recommended this spot. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

The saurbrauten was out of this world. You got to go. Also, the music was fun and played a song on empty beer bottles. It was better then bells.

There is a lot to enjoy here from the warm pretzels rolls brought to the table to the delicious sauerkraut balls, to the perfectly seasoned beef and barley soup, and the sharing platter with its delightful mix of schnitzel, sausages, potatoes and sauerkraut we left full and far from disappointed.

This site is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to this restaurant. when I I need a proper dinner, this restaurant comes instantly to my mind. splendid and many types of food and a rich menu.professional staff members, and good vibes. Also, the charge is reasonable. I suggest this place with great pleasure.

The daughter picked this place out for us to try. Let me say right now, it was damm good. My wife was born in Germany and my daughter and I have had the privilege cost Germany on several occasions. So on to this place, walked through the door and your taken on a visual adventure. So many cuckoo clocks and German related items to see and take in. Had so much fun. Also live music sets the scene for an authentic dinner. It's a must stop location.

Very good food, nice atmosphere, good beer selection. Fiance declared the German chocolate cake "yum."The waiter could have used some help, he was literally running back and forth trying to keep up. He still managed to provide great service.It's not cheap, though.

I grew up in Addison and I've passed this place so many times and have always wanted to go. We'll I finally did this past week and I'm so upset that I have never stopped in sooner! last night was our first time we visited this fine restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We had a good time with the generous service, with the first-rate food and fine drinks and with the honest pay. We will definitely come back again.

Well done german food, with excellent selection of beer. I personally prefer appetizers at german restaurants. Such as the sampler platter. They had a two man band from the south side playing accordion and trumpet. Reminds me of places that used to be in the city but are sadly gone now.

Food was pretty good. Service was good as well. I don't know that it was amazing to the point that we would come back. Dessert was not good so do not be fooled by the models of the food.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this great place. I am glad to say that we had a superb evening and the place was clearly the reason for this successful meeting. The food is incredible. Come prepared to wait for it, as it's all made to order. If you order a draft beer and go on an evening where there's live music, the time passes quickly! I recommend starting with a pretzel and beer cheese. The service was a bit awkward and stilted, but nothing "bad", only moderately distracting. Everyone was well-intentioned. The environment is casual, welcoming, and a bit kitschy in a manner that passes for charming. Family friendly. Fun date night.

Omg. The potato pancakes. I'm 62 and my grandmother from so long ago made them like this. Perfect. This place is my go to for German meals. The goulash is the best. I can keep going but just try. Can't be beat.

We really like this place. We have been here a dozen times or more. They have live music on Sunday nights from this guy who can play multiple instruments. The food is always good and the service is great. Lastly, the beers are as big as you want them to pour: 2-Liter to 1/2-Liter.

We were looking for something different. Happened by Schnitzel Platz. From the start the aroma and decor took me back to my time in Germany. Our server, Christian has extensive knowledge of the menu. He was friendly and attentive while not being a pest. Great food and service!

Not only did the owner and staff stay open after they closed but they also served the most delicious German food I’ve ever eaten. The potato pancakes were AMAZING!!

Great beer! Nice German atmosphere, but the food is not great. The haxe was smoked and broiled (?) rather then slow roasted. The bratkartofel over cooked, yet bland. And the schnitzel too thin and also not very flavorful. I must admit that the appetizer of four sausages was outstanding, and so was the pickled red cabbage! But the sauerkraut way overcooked. Not sure I'll be coming back...

My mom and I had dinner here. Leo was our waiter and he was very polite and attentive. Wonderful service! We had the large pretzel, which was hot and freshly baked. It came with a homemade beer cheese sauce. I had the stuffed champignons, which were filled with a smoked meat and topped with cheese. Delicious! Mom had meat platter with three kinds of sausage, a crispy schnitzel pork, and two kinds of slaw. The purple one was my favorite. The restaurant decor makes you feel you're in a German chalet deep in the Black Forest. Definitely recommend!
